The Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA) establishes procedures for resolving billing errors on open-end credit accounts, such as credit cards and revolving charge accounts. It requires that creditors that extend this kind of credit give you a written explanation of your rights if you're incorrectly charged and also tell you how to exercise these rights according to the provisions of the law.
