Fair Credit Reporting Act
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) gives you the right to learn what credit information is being distributed about you to and by credit reporting agencies. The law also establishes procedures for correcting errors in your credit record and protects your privacy by requiring credit reporting agencies to allow access to your credit file only to those who have a legitimate business need for the information.
